Giggs stepping up?

The Football Association of Wales will speak to Manchester United this week about involving Ryan Giggs in their coaching set-up when manager John Toshack quits. Toshack is expected to confirm his departure this week, although he may agree to remain in charge for next month’s qualifying doubleheader against Bulgaria and Switzerland so as not to leave his country in the lurch. As revealed in Sportsmail yesterday, Toshack has recommended Giggs as his successor and the FAW now plan to try to lure the United winger into his first coaching role. Although it is highly unlikely Giggs will consider managing his country until his playing career is over —and would be discouraged from doing so by his club boss Sir Alex Ferguson - the FAW are understandably keen to get him involved. One possibility under discussion involves asking Giggs to be involved with a new - or caretaker - coach for the remainder of this international season. That would involve Giggs teaming up with Wales for matches and working in a new set-up but would not lumber him with the responsibility of scouting players or picking squads. Such an arrangement is much more likely to appeal to the former Wales captain, and indeed to United, at a time when Giggs is still trying to extend his playing days.

Rooney Will Play with Switz : Capello

England coach Fabio Capello has confirmed Wayne Rooney will play in Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland despite recent allegations about the striker's private life.

Rooney was one of England's best performers in their 4-0 victory over Bulgaria on Friday - playing a part in all four goals - however, his place in the team in Basel had come under question after lurid claims in two Sunday newspapers.

The Manchester United frontman travelled with the team to Switzerland, however, and Capello said he was confident the player was in the right state of mind to take his place on Tuesday.

"Yes he will play," Capello said. "During training he was really good and I spoke with him and he's happy to play. I know the players when they want to play - that is really important. Against Bulgaria he was really, really good on the pitch.

"He will also be in a good situation tomorrow. I hope the performance of Rooney tomorrow will be the same as at Wembley. We are focused on the game, not about the private life of the players. We are here to play this game and train very well.''

Skipper Steven Gerrard said he expected Rooney to put the off-field matter to one side as England look to begin their qualification campaign with back-to-back wins.

"Yeah he's got an issue off the pitch put I don't think that will stop him from playing well,'' Gerrard said. "I spoke with him today at lunchtime and in training and Wayne's been fine. He's looking forward to the game and playing well.

"I think football can do that sometimes (help you focus) if you've got an issue of the field. Once the game starts Wayne will be focused on the field and getting the three points.

"Wayne's a big character. You expect big performances from Wayne every time he steps on the pitch. You saw that against Bulgaria. I expect another big performance from Wayne.''

Capello denied he had been more lenient with Rooney than with John Terry, whom he removed as captain following allegations about his private life.

"He was captain,'' the Italian said. "He played in all of the games, I never suspended him."

Setelah sekian lama aku menyepikan diri, kini aku sudah kembali. Lama gak aku tak menjenguk blog aku ni.. Hehehhe... Biasa la... Bz skit ngan tugasan seharian aku...

Aku sebelum ni asyik baca entry orang je. Entry sendiri tak tulis-tulis gak. Kadang-kadang tu takda idea nak tulis. Bila ada idea, malas plak datang.

Tapi hari ni aku tetiba je rasa nak tulis. Ada la aku update skit blog aku yang makin serabut. So, aku buang la mana-mana gadget yang aku rasa tak perlu tu kan.

Unpredictable World Cup

Skali lagi game yang baru je abis dengan kesudaha Italy seri ngan New Zealand. Italy dah la Champ World Cup 2006 boleh plak seri ngan negara yang bola tak bape nak power mana, New Zealand. NZ men ragbi reti la... Tu pon Italy tak boleh nak menang. Kalau tak dapat penalty td, aku rasa kalah dah Italy. 

Ni la yang dikatakan bola tu bulat. Tak kisah la team tu kuat mana pon, tapi kalau main cam hampeh, ni la yang akan jadi. Menbuka ruang kepada negara-negara kecil untuk melangkah jauh dalam bola sepak..

Anywhere, tahniah la kepada NZ sbb dapat draw ngan Italy Shoot 3, on goal 1. Italy plak Shoot banyak nak mampos, satu pon tak gol... hahahhaha

World Cup 2010 : No Dream Team

Setelah sekian lama aku tak menulis sebarang entry, akhirnya aku menguatkan gak jari jemari aku untuk menulis entry hari ni. Walaupon baru pas balik outing, dah tak tau apa nak buat, aku teringin nak tulis entry plak...

Tajuk aku kali ni maybe macam bosan sikit. Tapi apa yang aku nak sampaikan ni pon, aku rasa korang pon setuju gak... World Cup a.k.a Piala Dunia kali ni macam kurang menarik je. Dari start first game sampai la skang tak nampak menarik langsung. Hahhaha

Kebanyakan Dream Team yang mempunyai barisan pemain handalan seri ataupon kalah dalan setiap perlawanan. Setuju tak??? Cuba tengok France, juara tahun 1998, seri first game and kalah second game. Spain plak kalah ngan team yang tak dibarisi pemain handalan. England yang dipenuh ngan pemain hebat pon seri dalam kedua-dua perlawanan. Brazil plak hampir seri ngan N.Korea. Banyak team yang kuat hanya mampu seri je...

Skang ni yang aku rasa on track tok g second round adalah Argentina ngan Belanda. yang lain perlu kerja keras lagi... World Cup taun ni tak nampak menarik menang pon kecik je... Hahahh....

Apa-apa pon, layan je la... naka wat cam ne.... Hahahhaha
